Refrigerator brownies

Creamy smooth and extra rich in chocolate flavor, these new brownies are the hit of the day. Everyone who loves brownies loves these. No cooking. Just melt the chocolate, mix ingredients according to easy recipe, and refrigerate.

1 – In a mixing bowl, over hot water, melt together: 2 oz semi-sweet chocolate, 2 oz or 1/4 cup butter or margarine, and 1/4 cup sugar.

2 – When blended smooth, stir in 4 oz cream cheese, stirring till smooth.

3 – Mix in 8 graham crackers crushed fine by rolling pin, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 8 oz or 2 cups broken walnut meats.

4 – Pack level in buttered 7 or 8 inch square pan.

5 – Refrigerate overnight. Cut in squares.

Optional: Top with peppermint candy, and you might serve with peppermint ice cream.
