Green bean bake got a microwave makeover in the ’80s, and it’s every bit as quick and satisfying as it sounds. This version adds a twist to the usual holiday standby by swapping in golden mushroom soup and tossing in black olives for a little extra pop. It’s a fast fix with familiar ingredients, perfect for weeknights or family get-togethers.

What makes this green bean bake stand out is how it brings together convenience and flavor without much fuss. You can use frozen green beans, pantry staples and a microwave — or go the oven route if you prefer the classic method. Either way, it comes together in minutes and hits the table ready to serve up that old-school comfort.
