Fun party treats — Peanutty mini-footballs recipe
1. As shown on the Kellogg’s Cocoa Krispies cereal box [you can also find it on this page], prepare one batch of Kellogg’s Rice Krispies Treats through step 1. (Before adding cereal, mix 1/2 cup peanut butter to the marshmallow mixture.)
2. Shape mixture into sixteen 3-inch footballs.
3. Use prepared vanilla frosting to pipe on markings and stitching, and your team will cheer!
For a more traditional game plan, substitute Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal!

Rice Krispies treats basic recipe
Ingredients needed to make the Rice Krispies treats/Cocoa Krispies treats for this recipe:
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 package (10 oz., about 40) marshmallows OR 4 cups miniature marshmallows
6 cups Kellogg’s Rice Krispies cereal OR Cocoa Krispies cereal
Microwave method: In microwave-safe bowl, heat butter and marshmallows on HIGH for 3 minutes, stirring after 2 minutes. Stir until smooth. (Microwave cooking times may vary.) Add Rice Krispies, and stir until well-coated. [For this recipe, add 1/2 cup peanut butter to the marshmallow mixture.]
Divide warm mixture into sixteen football shapes [about 3 inches long]. Cool.
Stove-top method: In large saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat. Add Rice Krispies, and stir until well-coated.
