Making a new dessert that your family will love isn’t a tough nut to crack when you combine Jell-O Brand pistachio flavor instant pudding with almonds and pistachio nuts in this unique Bundt cake.
It takes the cake when it comes to baking, too, with the fantastic flavor and fluffy frosting of this exciting new cake.
Pistachio Inside-Outside cake
Ingredients
- 1 package (2 layer size) white or yellow cake mix
- 2 packages Jello Pistachio flavor instant pudding and pie filling, separated
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup club soda
- 1 cup oil
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
- 1-1/2 cups cold milk
- 1 envelope Dream Whip whipped topping mix
Instructions
- Blend cake mix, 1 package Jello, 3 eggs, club soda, oil, and chopped nuts in large mixer bowl, then beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
- Bake in greased, floured 10-inch Bundt pan at 350 (F) for 50 minutes.
- Cool 15 minutes; remove from pan and cool on rack.
- Split into 3 layers.
- Make the frosting, starting by blending cold milk, 1 envelope Dream Whip and 1 package pudding.
- Whip until thickened; about 5 minutes.
- Spread about 1 cup of frosting between layers, spoon the rest into the center.
- Chill.
- Garnish with chopped nuts.
