Here’s a deliciously light springtime treat that’s easy to make — a no-bake lime chiffon dessert with marshmallows. Simply combine sweetened condensed milk and a few other ingredients, and pour into a graham cracker crust. You’ll be out of the kitchen and into the limelight in no time.

Lime chiffon dessert
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 3 ounces lime-flavored gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- 14 ounces Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
- 8 ounces canned crushed pineapple, undrained
- 2 tablespoons ReaLime reconstituted lime juice
- 4 cups miniature white marshmallows
- 1 cup (1/2 pint) whipping cream, whipped
- Lime twists (optional)
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, melt butter; stir in crumbs.
- Pat the crumb mixture firmly & evenly on the bottom of an 8-inch square or 11- by 7-inch glass baking dish.
- Chill.
- In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water; stir in sweetened condensed milk, pineapple, and lime juice.
- Fold in marshmallows and whipped cream.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Chill for two hours or until set.
- Garnish with lime twists, if desired. Refrigerate leftovers.
