Here’s a delicious, fruity tropical dessert that’s cold and refreshing – Frozen Caribbean pie – like a fruity salad in a pie shell.

Frozen Caribbean pie/salad recipe

Ingredients

1 large banana, sliced
1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
1 tablespoon lime juice
1 cup Kraft Mayonnaise
1 cup heavy cream, whipped
1 cup drained crushed pineapple, drained
1/4 cup confectioners sugar
3 tablespoon light rum, or 1/4 tsp rum flavoring
1 tsp grated lime rind

Directions

Toss bananas with lime juice. Fold mayonnaise into whipped cream, add to bananas combined with remaining ingredients.

Spoon into 9-inch, pie plate. Freeze until firm. Cut into wedges. Garnish with maraschino cherries, lemon and lime slices, if desired. Makes 8-10 servings.
