In the years before many Americans turned to window blinds, most homes had short curtains — as opposed to floor-length drapes — in their windows.

Made in a variety of fabrics, colors and patterns, these vintage “shorty” curtains were often sold in sets — sometimes with multiple tiers, or accessories like canopies, swags and valances.

A pinch-pleated shorty that takes active living — beautifully, with little effort from you.

NEATNIKS machine wash, medium; tumble dry; rehang. Woven with 72 heavy threads per square inch. 1-1/2-inch side, 3-inch bottom hems. Gold-Color rings (fit rods) on all lengths thru 45 inches (lengths stated include rings). Unlined.

Slightly-slubbed, DuPont Dacron polyester fabric woven with 150 threads per square inch. Deep 3-fold pinch pleats, 4-inch headings, 3-inch bottom. 1-1/2 inch side hems. Gold color rings on all lengths through 45 inches.

Almost 7 feet wide. Luxurious, easy-care sheer of 70% rayon and 30% DuPont Dacron polyester. Rod-pocket top. Extra-deep 5-inch lockstitched bottom; 1-inch blindstitched side hems.
