Cook Time: 1 hour 10 minutes
Additional Time: 15 minutes
Total Time: 1 hour 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 or 2 small, ripe bananas
  • 1 package (2-layer size) yellow cake mix
  • 1 package (4-serving size) Jell-O Banana Creme or Vanilla Instant Pudding and Pie Filling mix
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice bananas into a large mixer bowl; beat until well mashed.
  2. Add remaining ingredients.
  3. Blend; then beat at medium speed of an electric mixer for 2 minutes.
  4. Pour into a well-greased and floured 10-inch tube or Bundt pan.
  5. Bake at 350 F for 60 to 70 minutes.
  6. Cool in pan for at least 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from pan; finish cooling on rack.
  8. Sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar if desired.

Notes

Note: Cake can be baked in a 13x9-inch pan for 50 to 55 minutes.
