Toll House Pie

Total Time: 1 hour

Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup firmly-packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter, melted and cooled to room temperature
  • 6 ounces Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 9-inch deep-dish unbaked pie shell
  • Sweetened whipped cream or ice cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 (F).
  2. In large bowl, beat eggs until foamy.
  3. Add flour, sugar and brown sugar; beat until well-blended.
  4. Blend in melted butter.
  5. Stir in Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate morsels and walnuts.
  6. Pour into pie shell.
  7. Bake for 1 hour.
  8. Remove from oven. 
  9. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
  10. Makes one 9-inch pie.
