Hamburger & Green Bean Casserole recipe
1 pound ground round
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tablespoons green pepper, chopped
1 number 303 can green beans whole, cut or French
1/8 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 can tomato sauce
4 or 5 medium potatoes, mashed
Brown meat. Add onion and green pepper. Cook until onion is golden brown. Stir in Worcestershire Sauce, tomato sauce, green beans, including liquid, salt and pepper. Simmer for half an hour. Pour into casserole dish and top with mashed potatoes. Sprinkle potatoes with paprika. Blake in moderate oven (350 F) until potatoes turn golden brown.
