Make a vanilla wafer cranberry cheesecake

Nilla wafer cranberry cheesecake recipe
50 Nilla Wafers (vanilla wafers)
1-2/3 cup sugar
3 tablespoons margarine, melted
3 8-ounce packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup sour cream
1/4 cup orange juice
1 tablespoon grated orange peel
Cranberry topping (recipe follows)
Finely roll 25 Nilla wafers. Mix crumbs. 5 tbs. sugar and margarine; press on bottom of 9-inch springform pan. Stand remaining wafers around side of pan, overlapping slightly. With mixer. beat cream cheese and the remaining sugar; blend in eggs, sour cream, orange juice and peel. Spread into crust.
Bake at 350 F for 1 hour or until set. Turn oven off; open door slightly. Let cheesecake stand in oven for 1 hour. Remove from oven; cool. Chill at least 4 hours. Serve topped with Cranberry topping. Garnish as desired.
Cranberry topping: In saucepan, cook 2 cups cranberries, 3/4 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons water and 1 tablespoon cornstarch over medium heat, stirring until mixture thickens. Chill. Makes 12 servings.
