You can probably imagine George Jetson relaxing in one of these sassy sixties-style swivel seats! With a bright blue bowed seat and space-age silver pedestal, this mid-century modern armchair is pretty much peak retro-futuristic furniture.
This pale beige chair has a modern design with a few touches that keep it from looking too boxy. After you assemble it (the legs come inside the chair), it makes a sturdy and spacious seating addition to any room.
Featuring that iconic modern scoop style with amoeba-shaped armrests, this chair is a midcentury-style masterpiece that's made in the modern day.
The only patterned chair in the set! While some other armchairs are available with multicolored fabric upholstery, this overlapping triangles/diamonds material is one of the few that really looked like it could have been seen in a home back in the midcentury era.
It's that famous retro space-age blobby amoeba shape in a completely groovy mid-century armchair - which even has a matching ottoman!
Comfort, plushiness, and an awesome vintage design - all in one stand-out piece of furniture. This chair will get people talking (in a good way).
Although a little more angular than some of the other mid-century modern armchairs made today, this still says "retro" loud and clear! It's upholstered in a canary yellow velvet, and the metal legs are capped in a golden color.
This good lookin' chair combines traditional design (like those little button tufting accents on the inside back) with a modern curvy wingback design for that retro zing. The four splayed legs holding it up have a warm oak finish that pairs perfectly with any color upholstery.
Here is a total classic midcentury modern staple! This comfy, squared-off chair on pointy wooden legs comes with a perfectly matched ottoman.
We just love the retro cantilevered chair look, and this accent chair does it especially well. While it's not super-soft, it's still comfortable and sturdy. (See a similar version in an authentic retro home here!)
This gorgeous piece of modern handmade furniture features both vintage-style tailored twill fabric and American walnut. The chair is button-tufted, and while it looks boxy, there's actually a subtle angle that makes it a comfortable seat - not just a trendy one.
The smooth and slightly shiny finish - plus the button-tufted sides - are what sold us on this boxy vintage-style armchair. The silvery legs were just a bonus.
This small and simple mid-century modern armchair was a hugely popular style in the 1950s and 1960s, and was a trendy addition to thousands of living rooms.
While available in a few different colors and materials, the one shown here is a brown leather-look (polyurethane leather) modern-style armchair. The form and finish of this particular seat remind us of the furniture inside homes we visited in the 70s.
