Two new cereals from Post: Fruity Pebbles & Cocoa Pebbles (1970)

Did you know that Post Cereals, have come out with some new “kid stuff”? Today, they announce the birth of twin cereals — Post Pebbles.

These crisp, pebbly puffs of pre-sweetened rice just arrived in two flavors — cocoa and fruity — and were created specifically for brightening breakfasts of children.

Fred Flintstone, of cartoon fame, is so enchanted with Post Pebbles that he breaks into his famous “Yabba Dabba Doo!” dance right on the 9-ounce package.

Cocoa Pebbles have a “coco moco” taste kids love, while multicolored Fruity Pebbles, with their natural fruit flavor, are just as appealing.

Both Pebbles are great for breakfast, fun for snacks right out of the package, yummy sprinkled over ice cream or pudding. And for better nutrition, both flavors have been fortified with iron, niacin, and Vitamin B1.
