For this master bedroom from the 1960s, a plain vanilla style wasn’t going to cut it.
To give this space a fall feel, orange vintage bedroom decor was the place to begin.
First, the walls were painted in a shade of apricot. Then the basic white louvered shutters were given a makeover by giving them a light tangerine orange color.
Next, to make this window really stand out, an arched top and frame were created with black decorator’s tape and fabric. Tie-back curtains were placed on either side of the window.
The window material matched the bedding and the wallpaper — a classic Victorian-style floral print in burnt umber and other shades of orange.
The dark glossy wood floor and wooden furniture continued the peachy theme. The only burst of a different color came by way of a leaf green throw pillow.
