Dick Clark featured on “This Is Your Life”

New York-born Richard “Dick” Clark, the pioneering powerhouse in the music and TV industries, was best known to the world for his show “American Bandstand,” and for “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve,” which he hosted for more than three decades.

Born in 1929, Dick had the talent, insight and drive to make him a major, unforgettable and positive influence on the entertainment industry. He died on April 18, 2012, at age 82.

In the late 1950s, Dick Clark was featured on the TV show “This Is Your Life,” a popular program that looked inside the lives of various celebrities of the time.

On this particular episode — featured below — the famous musical guests included Frankie Avalon, Fabian, Andy Williams and Connie Francis.
