Backyard decor: A flower cart

This colorful plywood flower cart, which can also be used for serving refreshments out of doors, is an original design by Woman’s Day Workshop that you can make yourself.

Cart stands 28″ high, with canopy 61″. To build wheels, you saw out a rim 24″ in diameter, then saw out spokes and attach them to rim with glue and screws. Wood surface for holding plants is 20″ x 40″; you drill it with holes for drainage. Hinged legs prevent tipping. Wheels, canopy, poles are removable for storage.
