Mirror, mirror on the ceiling… a sparkle-resparkle reflection of deep but clear hemlock green tweed-covered walls and high-lacquer woodwork.
All of these elements combined to provide a smart contrast of matte and sheen in this dining room designed by interior decorators Bebe Winkler and Bob Patino.
Shining forth, Gothic chairs were hard lacquered in silver, the floors given a silver wash, and crystalline glints of glass accentuated the liveliness that clear, dark color can have.

Chairs and the high-gloss octagonal table in this retro 70s dark green dining room were Winkler-Patino designs. The octagon-patterned rug was chosen to reflect, in smaller scale, the shape of the table.
