The 'Maid to Order' movie, with Ally Sheedy (1987)
In Maid to Order, Ally Sheedy plays a spoiled Beverly Hills rich girl Jessie Montgomery, whose hard-partying ways causes so much strife for her father (played by Tom Skerritt) that he wishes he’d never even had the kid.

Enter Beverly D’Angelo as fairy godmother Stella Winston, who works her magic and brings Dad’s wish to life. (“Some maids deserve to be princesses, and some princesses deserve to be maids.”)

Jessie’s forced to take a job as a maid in order to make a living. Hijinks ensue, etc.
