Drop-down desk

Handsome paneling covers both walls and built-ins in this use-every-inch bedroom. Its biggest asset is the hinged, plywood-backed panel that swings down over the bed to form a king-size work surface. Magnetic catches hold the panel up. When it’s down for action, it rests on cleats at the head and foot of the bed.
