Osterizer Chicken Encore recipe

2 cups diced left-over cold chicken
1 cup diced celery
1/2 medium onion, quartered
2 slices fresh bread, in pieces
1 egg
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon sage
1/4 cup butter melted
1 slice dry bread, in pieces

Use “on-and-off” technique to crumb or chop all ingredients in Osterizer. Crumb dry bread and set aside.

Then, separately, crumb fresh bread; chop chicken (half at a time); chop celery; chop onion, egg and seasonings, adding to mixing bowl as processed.

Mix well and shape mixture into cylinders. Brush with melted butter and roll in dry crumbs previously set aside.

Place in greased pan, pour remaining butter over top. Bake 45 min at 375F. Serve with sauce. Serves 3 to 4.

Osterizer Curry Sauce recipe

1 1/4 cups milk
2 egg yolks
1 tablespoon flour
2 tablespoons butter
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon curry powder

Combine all ingredients in Osterizer. Cover and blend. Heat in double boiler until thickened.
