Boston Red Sox player Tris Speaker

Here’s are a couple early baseball trading cards from 1909-1912, featuring Tris Speaker (born Tristram E Speaker in 1888) of the Boston Red Sox. He was a center fielder who led the team to two World Series championships. The back of the top card had one of a few different cigarette ads — including those from Piedmont and Sweet Caporal.
