This classic scene from “Job Switching,” the first episode in season two of I Love Lucy, originally aired on September 15, 1952.

This part of the fantastically funny episode features Lucy (Lucille Ball) and Ethel (Vivian Vance) biting off a little more than they can chew when they get a job at a candy factory, and end up fighting a losing battle against a conveyor belt of chocolates. Actress Elvia Allman stars as the angry boss lady who has already had quite enough of the girls’ antics.

  1. This show was before my time, but this is one of the only scenes I remember from this show.
