Hot buttered Cheerios

The new quick ‘n easy snack you make with Cheerios

Make a bowl right now! Just melt 1/4 cup of butter or margarine in a 10-inch skillet over low heat. Add 4 cups of Cheerios. Cook and stir cereal 2 to 3 minutes until well-coated and hot, then sprinkle with salt. You’ve got Hot Buttered O’s!

Served warm or cool, it’s a tasty new snack your whole family will enjoy.

    Honeynut Cheerios, just add melted butter and bake. Yummy sweet addition, or just by themselves.

    Omg!! I finally found it. I knew I wasn’t crazy!! I was born in ’77 and distinctly remember my mom baking honey nut cheerios in the oven with butter. It was one of the best things ever. She doesn’t even remember so I can’t wait to show her. Clearly I’ll be making this stat.
